The first masterclass of The Visual Factory will take place in Turin, at the Dora Docks. The mentors will be Fabio Bucciarelli, Manu Brabo, and Bulent Kilic. Guest speakers will include Damiano Rizzi from Soleterre and Emila Astore from Amnesty International.

To participate in the workshops, you must hold an ARCI membership card. If you are not yet a member, you can join here. The annual membership card costs €15. It is also possible to purchase the card on site, before the start of the masterclass.
This intensive workshop, led by internationally acclaimed photographers Fabio Bucciarelli, Manu Brabo, and Bülent Kılıç, will guide you through the entire process of creating a compelling photojournalistic story—from initial idea to final edit. You’ll engage in practical fieldwork, group discussions, and personalized one-on-one mentoring. Additionally, there will be keynote lectures by the instructors and two special guest speakers who will address important topics related to visual storytelling and the industry. Throughout the experience, you’ll receive valuable feedback on storytelling, editing, sequencing, and how to build a strong, cohesive body of work with potential for publication, exhibitions, or photo books.
